Finalists for the second annual Bloganthropy Awards were announced today by Bloganthropy.org and Child’s Play Communications. The unique awards program recognizes women bloggers who use social media to support a good cause. For the second straight year, Procter & Gamble is sponsoring the Bloganthropy Awards, this time through its Give Education program. The company will present a total of $5,000 to the winner and finalists.

For the second year in a row, P&G is sponsoring the Bloganthropy Awards. Because of P&G’s support, the winner of the 2011 Bloganthropy Award will receive $2000, and four finalists will receive $500 each. P&G also has generously offered an additional $200 to all five honorees to help offset their travel costs to the Awards. We will be announcing the finalists for the prize very soon. In the meantime, we hope you’ll support P&G’s charitable efforts.

We are excited to announce that Teresa Keller and her family, of Round the World With Us, are our February Bloggers of the Month.
Round the World With Us is a blog that documents the travel volunteerism of Teresa Keller, a single mom, her three children, Jennifer (age 18), Alex (age 13) and Bella (age 12), and her best friend’s daughter (Meagan, age 17).
Teresa decided to give up their home, car and most of their possessions and spent their savings to travel around the world, exploring, volunteering and raising money for 14 (and counting) charitable projects…
